About
WHO WE ARE
Chorale 77 was born in fall 2018 out of a desire to grow in community within our Christian School family. Though it began through a collaboration of students, staff, and parents, it quickly grew to encompass nearly forty singers, including alumni, former board members and employees, and friends. We welcome all who live in the greater Pittsburgh area to join with us in our shared mission of spreading the Gospel through song and growing in relationships with fellow Christians.

WHAT TO EXPECT
As we begin, each member will receive sheet music and access to recordings. On your own or with help from others, you will be expected to learn your own part (text + pitches + rhythms) before coming to one or two rehearsals. Dress rehearsal will be the only required rehearsal. Polls are sent out at the beginning of each season to set the performance date as well as practice dates and times. Cost for each season is typically between $5 and $15 depending on the cost of music.
National Anthem @ Washington Wild Things
Saturday, June 27, 2026 is Airport Area Community Night at the Washington Wild Things. Chorale 77, the community choir affiliated with RTCS, was graciously invited back to sing the national anthem as the representative group from the Airport area.
First, we are looking for participants. If you are a 7-12 student, a parent, staff member, or a friend who loves to sing, we would be so excited to have you join in. No rehearsals beyond the day of the game are necessary, but recordings and sheet music are provided. You will need to memorize your part. If you haven’t sung with Chorale 77 in the past, that’s okay! We’d love to welcome new voices. All singers will be able to attend the game for free! If you are interested in singing with us, please fill out the following google form and we will be in touch with you:

For those of you who have no interest in performing in front of a crowd… You are invited to join in on the festivities with the RTCS Family! Tickets purchased through our dedicated link are only $11.50. The more the merrier - this is a wonderful opportunity to advertise the benefits and beauty of a Christian Education at RTCS to others in our immediate community!
